French Bloom La Cuvée Vintage 2023 Blanc de Blancs, the newest 0.0% French sparkling Blanc de Blancs release, stands out for its finesse and precision.
Crafted from organic Chardonnay from old vines in the Hauts de Vallée of Limoux, the 2023 vintage reflects a dry season balanced by timely spring rains and cool temperatures — conditions that preserved remarkable acidity and aromatic purity.
Aged 8 months in oak barrels and produced without dosage, it reveals bright grapefruit, stewed orchard fruits, a refined mineral backbone, and subtle toasted-brioche notes. Fresh, elegant, and sculpted — a true expression of the year.
Presented in its collector’s box, each bottle is individually numbered, highlighting the rarity of this limited release.

For La Cuvée Vintage 2023, the 0.0% French Bloom Wine Revelation Process begins with an uncompromising focus on crafting outstanding wine bases from our Chardonnay vines in the Hauts de Vallée of Limoux. Every step — from terroir selection to early harvest — is designed to preserve the tension, freshness, and aromatic precision that define this vintage.
These wine bases are then shaped through 100% oak-barrel aging for eight months, with carefully controlled oxidation, a hallmark of La Cuvée’s élevage. This approach builds structure, depth, and layered complexity long before dealcoholization begins, ensuring the final non-alcoholic sparkling wine retains the elegance and expressiveness of its origin.
Guiding this process is Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger, CEO and Director of R&D, whose expertise in Champagne and Cognac informs a profoundly terroir-driven philosophy.

THE 2023 TERROIR EXPRESSION
The journey of La Cuvée Vintage 2023 begins in Limoux, where we carefully select organic Chardonnay grapes from hillside parcels in the Hauts de Vallée. These high-altitude slopes naturally concentrate aromas and preserve freshness, offering ideal conditions for crafting expressive, tension-driven wine bases. Grapes are harvested earlier than the regional norm to capture optimal acidity and precision, forming the foundation of La Cuvée’s signature style.
2023 brought a distinctive character to this terroir. A very dry winter and spring created a strong hydric deficit, followed by much-needed rains between May and June. Moderate temperatures leading into harvest, paired with wide variations between warm days and cool nights, helped preserve acidity, balance, and aromatic intensity.
AGED IN FRENCH OAK BARRELS
After harvest, the organic Chardonnay grapes are gently pressed to obtain the purest wine bases. For La Cuvée Vintage 2023, these bases are aged entirely in 225-liter French oak barrels for eight months. This élevage, shaped by carefully controlled oxidation, develops structure, depth, and aromatic complexity.
The result is a wine base of remarkable precision and character, with layers of citrus brightness, stewed fruit, and subtle toasted notes that carry through the dealcoholization process to achieve 0.0% alcohol.
AT THE CUTTING EDGE OF INNOVATION IN THE DEALCOHOLIZATION PROCESS
One of the final and most essential steps of the 0.0% Wine Revelation Process is dealcoholization. For La Cuvée Vintage 2023, the French Bloom R&D team uses advanced low-temperature vacuum distillation, a three-step technique that gently removes 100% of the alcohol while preserving the wine’s original aromatic compounds.
This method safeguards the complexity developed during élevage, ensuring the wine base’s citrus brightness, depth, and subtle toasted notes remain intact. The result is a non-alcoholic sparkling Blanc de Blancs with a profile comparable to fine wines and traditional sparkling wines.
